Still here. Starting again.

The last post on this blog is from 2018. That’s not a typo, though I wish it were, I just got lazy busy.

A lot happened in those years. Life shifted. FSHD kept progressing and reshaping what my days look like. I kept building things but stopped writing about them.

What I’ve been up to: I started a managed WordPress hosting business ! Something I’d been doing informally for years that finally became a real thing with real plans, real clients, and real support. That was a leap. Then I started learning iOS development, which was a different kind of leap – humbling, exciting, and slower than I expected. My first app, LightsOut, is live on the App Store. Another one, Flint, is in the works.

Both of those things required more faith than I anticipated. Not just the “I hope this works” kind, the kind where you start something without knowing if it’ll amount to anything and do it anyway because it’s what you’re supposed to do.

So here’s what you can expect going forward: dev notes, thoughts on building as a side project alongside a full-time job, faith, and whatever else doesn’t fit anywhere else.

So here’s to what’s next and I hope to more consistent!
