Service providers

• Stripe — payment processing. Your billing details are handled directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
• Plausible Analytics — privacy-focused website analytics. No cookies, no personal data, no cross-site tracking.
• Loops — email marketing and waitlist notifications. Used only for opt-in communications.
• Postmark — transactional email delivery (receipts, form confirmations, support replies).
• TelemetryDeck — anonymous analytics for iOS apps. See the iOS Apps section below.

Data security

All data is transmitted over SSL encryption. Payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. We take reasonable steps to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

iOS apps

This section covers iOS apps published by Ryan Olson (thatryan) on the Apple App Store, including LightsOut and Flint.

What we collect: Our apps use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to help us understand usage and improve the app. TelemetryDeck collects a hashed non-reversible device identifier, app version, iOS version, device type, and anonymous usage signals. This data cannot identify you personally.

What we do not collect: Your name, email, location, photos, financial information, health information, or any other personal data.

LightsOut note: LightsOut uses the camera framework solely to control your iPhone’s flashlight. The camera is never activated and no photos or video are ever captured or stored.
