Behind The Developer: Friends & Fun

Posted by & filed under Blog.

I wanted to post something more on the fun side, because we all can get developer’d out every once in a while. :) So instead of code or a tutorial, (which I am working on a new one by the way), I decided to post some videos! I belong to a great Church community and we do a lot of fun stuff, events and hanging out wise, and I tend to record a lot of it. First because I have a rad camcorder that I love to play with, but also because life can suck sometimes, and videos serve as evidence that life can be good and will get better. I also love playing with Final Cut Studio and videos inevitably result. So here are a few random fun videos I have collected and enjoy watching time and again, so wanted to share, for funzies! Right ok enough intro, come watch some fun.

Piano Enjoyment

My friend Leah plays the piano beautifully and I was lucky enough to record one of her performances, enjoy.

Open Mics

Speaking of music, my friend Mary played at an open mic night and I wound up with a video clip of it. I did not shoot it, but the song is way catchy and it sticks in my head!

Puppets

Ah the puppets. This was a bit of fun a couple friends and I had bringing Church news in an unconventional way. Here is our outtake reel.

Well I hope you enjoyed some of these, and maybe got a chance to know me a little better. Life can be tough, but as long as we hold on to times like these things become a little bit easier. Thank you to all my friends for being part of my life. Love to you all. Thanks for stopping by!

Come on dude, spread the word!
